Hi All,
Currently I am in US for the second time. I really liked the place, lifestyle, people, the comfort, technology etc etc... many other things, as a normal person likes. All these things always force me to think over a very common question, can we have all these things in our own home, India?
Everywhere its being said, India is going to be a superpower, that means, we have the potential, but still being a 60 year old country, why we couldn't achieve it yet? People in many areas are still struggling to get basic amenities, basic needs? People working so hard more than 12 hours a day, on an average, still most of the people's dreams not coming true, why so? I have seen in big cities of our India, we are struggling to get 24 hours of Water, 24 hours of electricity which are supposed to be the basic needs!!
Always when I start thinking towards these directions, I always start comparing our nation with the better ones, especially US. All my thinking comes down to one point of cause, our population. Huge population in limited resources. The rate of the population increase is very high than the rate of Infrastructure growth, resource growth.
Due to high population & low rate of resource growth, there is a huge pressure on each and every part of system. ... to be continued....
